Gallery West is an artist's cooperative gallery located in the
West End of Old Town Alexandria, just across the Potomac from Washington,
DC. We are near numerous art and antique shops, boutiques, restaurants,
hotels and many busy and exciting places. Gallery West, founded
in 1979, is owned and operated by Washington area artists of all
media.

the rest of the year hours are 11-6pm.

Web site sales are conducted directly between the member-artist
and patron.
Directions:
King Street is the main east-west street in Old Town Alexandria
Virginia, with the "100 block" at the Potomac. The Gallery,
at 1213 King, is twelve blocks west of the river, between Fayette
Street and West Street. The Alexandria King Street Metro Station
is just six blocks further west from the gallery.
From Washington DC: Cross the Potomac into Virginia and
take the George Washington Parkway towards Mount Vernon. The Parkway
becomes Washington Street as it passes through the Old Town portion
of Alexandria. Turn right onto King Street and watch for Fayette
Street as a reference point. Parking is on the street. Meters currently
take quarters.
From Virginia or Maryland: Proceed to the Telegraph Road
North exit off of I-95. Approaching Duke Street move to the right
lane and then proceed east (toward Old Town) on Duke Street. Turn
left on West Street. King Street is three blocks ahead. Parking
is on the street. Meters currently take quarters.
