Celebrating 30 Years

The Power of Color

Celebrate the vitality of color in July! Gallery West has chosen over 40 wonderful artworks from guest artists to display with unique creations by member artists in an exhibition dedicated to the use of color.

The show runs July 8 through August 2. A public reception will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 6-8pm. Come meet our member and guest artists. See a "Landscape in Color" watercolor demonstration at 6:30pm.

We also will be open for the Second Thursday Artwalk on Thursday, July 9 from 6-9pm. Light refreshments will be served at both receptions.

Gallery West is one of the oldest cooperative galleries in Northern Virginia and showcases only artists from the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  In January 2009, the gallery enters its 30th year.  Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and until 9 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month.  Additional information and images can be seen at www.gallery-west.com.  Inquiries can be made at 703-549-6006 during business hours.
